Description

Northern Pintail. Winter migrants to many regions of the world in the northern hemisphere, including vast marshlands in India, these are distinctive elegant birds - they are well composed and they know it. Easy to pick them out in a crowded bar ๐Ÿ™‚. Their breeding grounds are in the North Central US, Canadian Prairies, Alaska and the Arctic Tundra. See the female in picture 3 here - drab colors but ridiculously beautiful, nevertheless
